We are now accepting applications for the Young Founders Entrepreneurship Program, a specialized entrepreneurship education program certified by Babson College (USA). This program is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to take the first step toward launching their own ventures.
A. Program Overview
This 15-week (1 semester) course was carefully designed by faculty members from both Babson College and SolBridge International School of Business. Students will strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset through Babson’s signature Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® (ET&A™) framework and methodology.
Key topics include Lean Startup, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) exercises, and hands-on learning based on the ET&A™ approach. Participants will take Babson’s Venture Mindset course and receive a Babson Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.
B. Curriculum Structure
- Type : Special Education Program (1 Semester)
- Credits : Total of 18 credits
- Courses : 6 courses (3 credits each, Total 18 credits)

C. Program Operation
- Duration : Fall Semester, 2025
- Capacity : 40 students (10 Seats left)
- Eligibility :
① International and domestic students in their 3rd year or above from all majors at Woosong University and SolBridge ISB
② 2nd-year students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher may apply upon completing an interview with the Program Director
③ Students must be proficient in English, as all classes will be conducted in English
- Lecture Location : SolBridge ISB
- Grading Method : Absolute evaluation

- Program is conducted based on the entrepreneurship education frameworks of Babson College and SolBridge ISB

- Startup Support Fund : 5,000,000 KRW – Starting a new Business Venture (Business plan approval required)
* Additional 5,000,000 KRW (extendable up to 10,000,000 KRW) if a team including one more Korean member has registered for filed business license in Daejeon.
- Guaranteed final grade of B or above upon successfully completing all six (6) courses and all course requirements in this Program
- Opportunity to obtain additional Government-issued Certificates
- Stand out to the venture founders, future employers and graduate schools by demonstrating initiative, global competence, and entrepreneurial drive
- Gain real-time prototyping experience at Sol Venture Design Studio
- Support for registering business licenses in Korea.
- Fulfill Entrepreneurship specialization requirements while also having the flexibility to count the credits toward Core, Elective, Minor and other Specialization courses
- Students interested in pursuing two specializations can count YFEP credits toward enabling dual specialization upon successful completion

- Please fill out the application form following the instructions in the attachment and submit it in person to the Startup Center (W19 Room 112)
- Signatures from both the applicant and the department chair are required

2) SolBridge ISB (Domestic & International Students)
- Students who are interested in applying must apply for the Young Founder Entrepreneurship courses in the WSINFO System:
BBA → Course → Course Registration → 3rd Year, Major (Entrepreneurship) → Young Founder Entrepreneurship (in the search field) → Search

※ Notes:
* Babson Certificate of Completion will be issued to students at the end of the semester
* All six program courses must be taken together.
* All courses will have an absolute grading policy.
* The program is a part of an Entrepreneurship specialization, however, credits for this program can also be counted as a Core, Elective, Minor or other Specialization.
* Students starting from the 4th semester can apply.
* Applying for the internship or job placement is not allowed
* The registration for the program is on a first-come first-serve basis.
* Access to the Sol Design Studio may be obtained by making reservations.
* The startup support fund is not free money, but a business expense account in the form of a scholarship which students can spend to pay for any startup related business expense up to the defined fund limit. A student or a team must submit a business plan for their new venture idea, and this plan must be approved by the Woosong Head of Venture Programs and Woosong Leadership to obtain the necessary funding.
